Honduras
The Bay Islands of Honduras still offer a somewhat primitive character and an "off-the-beaten-path" feel. While there are a number of great resorts and small hotel opertions offering all of the infrastructure necessary for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation, the islands have largely escaped the attention of the mega-resorts and cruise ship hordes.

Fly Fish Guanaja Lodge
Guanaja is one of the last frontiers of saltwater fly-fishing in the Caribbean. Our lodge is a private key in the middle of the flats surrounded by bonefish and permit and we are usually the only ones fly-fishing there. Guanaja is a diverse Caribbean fishery surrounded by sand, turtle grass, and coral flats. When fishing Guanaja, you can expect to wade fish about 65 percent of the time and fish out of the boat the other 35 percent. more >

Graham's Place - Guanaja
Guanaja is an incredible destination for those looking for a cheap and easy "do-it-yourself" trip, and Graham's Place offers what think is the best value anywhere in the Caribbean. It is not fancy or full service, and in fact is "Caribbean funky" and colorful in the island way. The home flats, however, mean that you can wade directly from Graham's and walk for several miles on hard-bottomed, shallow flats. more >
